A quick question.

"The final drive assembly can be replaced the the unit from a VT1100,
as long as the replacement has four mounting bolts. (Early VT1100
model years used three mounting bolts.)
The change in gear ratios from 3.400 (10/34T) to 3.090 (11/34T) will
result in:
o Lower engine speed and reduced engine wear for a given ground speed.
o Slight increase in fuel mileage.
o Slower acceleration.
o Increased clutch wear.
Not recommended for hacks or towing a trailer.
