A few general battery questions

The AGM batteries made by East Penn are the way to go. They are sold under
various names. "Big Crank" for example. They can be found on the Internet in the
50-60 dollar range. They will last for years if maintained properly.

There is no draw on the PC battery when parked, unless you have added an
accesory such as a clock or a radio with a memory in it. When parked for
extended periods it's best to remove the battery and leave it on a "Battery
Tender" if there is no outlet at your parking location.

If you Google Solar Battery Chargers there are reviews available.
