Avon Venom AM42 Rear Tire
Written by goldwingman40 on 4/13/2011 at 03:40 pm

Jared,
I have about 3000 miles on My Roadrider front but John Hanford has 7000 or 8000
miles and it looks like no wear and the traction is great, very sticky. Down
here with the abrasive roads we only get 5000 or 6000 miles from Dunlops and
8000 to 10000 miles from Metzler ME880. Because they don't make a Roadrider in
PC rear size, 15", the Venom is probably the best match but reports show it is
only an average mileage tire. John is currently trying a Pirelli MT66 rear to
see what mileage it will give.
