Display Mesage #102269

Shark Radio?
Written by rvicke on 4/13/2011 at 11:38 pm

Actually, with the headunit in the trunk, a display doesn't give you much....the
one I ordered is the same you have.....

Ok, now that I found someone who has added one, where the heck did you plug in
the power wire from the amp?

Looking at the wiring diagram, there seems to be an 'other' connector close to
the starter relay....did you use that connection (on the radiator fan circuit
(10 amps)?

This and the location of the remote (plan to put on right side too) wiring...how
to get it in there in such a way it doesn't impede turning....

Well, hopefully by Sunday, I have tunes.

Rick

PS: I use an HD receiver in my car, and will really miss HD....so I'm keeping my
eyes open for something to make this work HD...

section under 'shark radio'. There are two 100-Watt versions. Mine has the USB
port which I really, really like. A friend has one without the USB, but his has
an FM station display that mine lacks. So if you like you want to play your own
tunes, mine is much better; If you like the FM radio, his is better. In both
cases installing the speakers may take some ingenuity. The remotes look
different too. You just have to look closely at what you are getting.

like it will do fine....I will report back my experience.

250 Watt version also, but I figure that might tax our electrics. On Amazon
there's one listed for only $44, others for $77. Reviews are all 4 and 5 star.
No AM, but has FM, MP3 port, and is small enough (2.5x3.5x1.75) to fit in a lot
of places on the PC. Comes with waterproof speakers that look like they are
meant for handlebar mounting, but could probably rig up another arrangement.
Just wondering if anyone's tried it! Oh heck, it's cheap enough that if I don't
hear anything I'm tempted to be the guinea pig.
