Shark Radio?
Written by rvicke on 4/15/2011 at 02:15 am

Thanks very much for the info on the accessory plug....that's the one I found on
the wiring diagram...Red full on, Blue/Black ignition on (I'm assuming), and
Green ground......

I received the system today, and pulled the speaker cover off the PC...the
speakers included are 2 1/2 inch, and the mounting on the PC looks like 4
inch....did you use the enclosed speakers, and if so, how did you mount them?
The speaker mounts look very weak too, if using 4" speakers.

And, then, I was expecting the speaker hole covers to be pop-out, but they are
all one piece...I noticed someone else had the speaker hole covers open, and
mesh ran across the back of the speaker hole. I guess I will have to cut that
out....

Lot more work than I had anticipated on the speakers...

Rick

hooked red from the radio to the red wire in the plug (always on), and the
ground to the green wire there. Both wires were long enough to reach without
adding anything.

handlebar plastic. There's a picture in the files of that notch. Works very
well.

fine. When I put the fuse back in, it started right up. Guess it needs a little
dielectric grease there...
