Re: Valve stemsWritten by swiftly1... on 5/21/2011 at 03:06 amI had 90 degree steel stems installed by my Honda dealer with last tire change.
Not that expensive at all.

Subject: PC800: Valve stems
Since I'll be changing my tires out next week, I figured I might as well change
out the valve stems as well. The ones on my '89 appear to be original or at
least stock. I want to replace them with metal stems. Some time back, someone
posted this link as a good valve stem replacement:
http://www.motowheels.com/italian/myproducts.cfm?parentcategoryid=621|Tires,%20C\
hains%20%26%20Valve%20Stems&productID=3371&showDetail=1&categoryID=624|Valve%20S\
tems%20%26%20Caps&vendoridtodisplay=0&filterFor=&collection=621|Tires,%20Chains%\
20%26%20Valve%20Stems
Has anyone used anything else recently that they liked? Is that valve stem link
above still the preferred stem?
Cheers,
Douglas
