I have a VIP trunk and looking for a mounting rack
Written by jim.strtr on 5/21/2011 at 05:15 pm

Just a quick note to let you know I'm still working on my rack design. I had to
move a 3,000 lbs. lathe last weekend and I picked up a machine shop job that
paid way too much to turn down, so the money jobs come first. I'll be back to
welding up my first rack this week. J.S.

them bent into the proper shape but have not yet cut or mounted them. I think
they'll work just as well as the Reid rack, but I had not realized that they
could cause failure of the OEM backrest.

weight in the Givi 52. When Jim Streeter's racks are ready, I'll replace my
homemade version with his.
