#@!#$# oil leaks!

Scott,

High temp silicone sealant, eh? I'll have to put that on the list for the next
run to the auto parts store. What did you do to get all the oil off so you
could get a good seal? Is carb cleaner okay to use with that type of plastic?

There is no sign of cracking on either of the two sets of air box boots I have.
The oil leaking on the air box that came with my bike probably helped those 22
year old bits of plastic stay limber. I guess it's not all bad having an oil
leak :-)
