Headlight bulb change help
Written by alfr4d on 5/24/2011 at 02:09 am

It locks with a handle, comparable with the one on car headlights. remove the
plastic under the light (three screws). Remove the light plug with notion on its
position, remove the rubber cap, look with a mirror for where the clamp handle
is and loosen it careful without moving it out of place. Change the light
without ever ! touching the quartz glass in the same way it went out. Absolutely
no dirt or dust must go into the housing with the lens and mirror (very
important) so work clean and clean dirt off first. Put the handle back, if
unsure how: pull the spring back over and push the lever lightly down and to
below just until it is able to move up front a little and next a bit up. Now it
is tight and you can place the rubber back. At the rubber should be marked the
up or down position. Put the plug back on and test light and hight. It helps if
the old position is marked at the garage wall. Alfred

twist it? Feels stuck like it might break. Thanks in advance.
