Question please...You placed a screw in the rubber of the handlebars? Or did the
screw go into the plastic handlerbar housing?

      Alternatively, you can cut the tab off, file it down, and just screw it to the end of the bar cover... which is what I did with mine, as there was already a hole attempted for it. :p Either way, you're gonna have to mutilate the bar cover to

            To get the Vista Cruise on you need to pull the grip away from the housing just a little so the Vista has room to sit. When you do that the grip is kind of tight against the bar end so I trim the end off just a little bit so the grip snaps ba

                Without those stock grips you'll never be able to sell your bike as "original". Forget about the big bucks on resale!.....I trimmed back the grip ring on the end by the weight, its more comfortable without it anyway. --- In

      Here's my Freebie solution - the throttle wedge. http://tinyurl.com/3kaajgg It is a piece of rubber bungee strap, shaped to wedge in between the throttle and the plastic handlebar housing.
