Rear running/brake lights failing
Written by goldwingman40 on 7/6/2011 at 03:29 am

Ron,
Did you check out your voltage output at above 3000 rpm's. You could have a bad
regulator putting out TOO high a voltage blowing the bulbs. This is why you need
a on board digital voltmeter to know if and when you have electrical problems
before they leave you stranded.

out bulb problem. Now, 2 days, wire harness check and some soldering, 6
bulbs....still burning them out for some reason. Random one side or the other.
All fuses check out. Any help is great. Cant really see going down the highway
with no active brake lights and am now running out of time and ideas.

burned out again. One bulb stays on and hot so atleast I do have some rear
light coverage but....help. I really just want to get it fixed.
