Cam Plugs Need Replacing
Written by douglasvanb on 8/1/2011 at 04:02 pm

Hi Jim,

Don't get scared if you read my saga of replacing my cam plugs
(http://www.douglasvanbossuyt.com/2010/01/09/the-trouble-with-tappets/). It's
really an easy job. Just don't screw up like me :-)

Following the directions to do this:
http://www.directcon.net/lcshepp/PC800SMPage8-2.html you will be able to replace
the plugs. Note that one of the torque specs on that page is wrong (if I
remember correctly). I think it's #8 and it should be something more like 21
N-m... The correct value is in the front of the manual. Does anyone else know
if I'm remembering that correctly?

Cheers,

Douglas

for changing out the cam plugs for new non-leaky ones. Even Youtube and Google
had nothing. Any one know where I can find a little help?
