Will is correct. I cut a piece of clear plexiglass so that it slips into the map
pocket and completely fills the space. This stiffens the top of the glovebox,
and the ends of the plexiglass rest upon the handlebar covers and prevent the
glovebox from sagging into the gap.

One of our riders (Bruce Pickett) gave me the ideal how to fix the sagging
bag problem. In the map case insert a piece of stiff plastic that fits it
completely. The will help the bag keep it's shape and not sag. It works,
and the map pocket is still usable.
