More mods - wind defection for feet
Written by devofletcho on 10/21/2011 at 02:20 am

Genius Dave
Who doesn't take turns hanging there hand in front of the side vents.
re-routing that for your feet is brilliant. I just have to make some footy
fairings so that nice warm air has time to defrost my toes.

month. The other day we were riding in a 30 - 40 mph cross wind. I warned her to
make sure she was hanging on good when we hit the freeway. Open spot in traffic,
and I cracked on it. We about 95. When we pulled over she was like "You weren't
kidding when you said to hang on!" LOL. So the end result is that the wind
deflectors have been tested to 95 mph, and are fine, including in a serious
crosswind.

2 inches. They take a little twisting to get them in place. In addition, there
is a screw into the bottom of the HWY pegs, that keeps them from sliding
forward, which is the only way to take them off. They slide forward about 1.5",
and then you have to pry them out of the Tupperware.

through the project, I figured out there was no way, unless one of these broke.
Its a project you do once. That and they aren't real perfect - definitely
"handcrafted".

the crash bar cover that would blow radiator air down on your boot. Vent hole
in that location would not been seen and would not change the look of the bike.
Then partially block off the side vents behind the screen to deflect that air
down.

Every added piece must be in the same style as the original design. I tend to
not like modifications that prevent the bike from ever being returned to its
original look ie no cutting or drilling of the Tupperware.
