Inexpensive 2 helmet top box... < $70
Written by akienm on 11/1/2011 at 09:18 pm

Similar, but not the same. Probably similar quality, but I haven't tried
that one.

The ebay one has free shipping to most of the continental US, so it's
slightly cheaper than the JCW one.

The JCW one is *smaller*, and wouldn't have held my backpack.

The *plate* on the JCW one is a givi MC style, and I *think* the rack would
have obviated the need for the plate on that one. It came set up looking
like the plate in the pic on the JCW site.

Even tho I had to make a plate adapter, I think I like the one I have
better than the JCW one. Fits my needs better.

Somebody asked me off list about the rack/top box combination I have. The rack I've already talked about extensively here. Below are some links to a current offering of the same top box on ebay. I've been very happy with it. Most of all b

Oh, and I had to make an adapter to make the plate for this fit on the rack. Apparently it's some kind of scooter style plate, at least that's what I've been told. I've also been told the rack came set for a Givi motorcycle plate. This
