Need help for seat upholstering
Written by hmarsh198 on 1/22/2012 at 05:43 am

I to am looking for a good place to have my seat reupholstered in the Tampa Bay
area. I had my 89 PC done by an outfit in Arkansas that advertised on ebay and
have regretted using them. The marine vinyl is OK but, the installation and
workmanship was not up to par. Plus, the time it took to do the job was way
longer than it should have taken. I finally asked to have it returned finished
or not. Well, it wasn't finished. I am riding around with a half finished back
rest. You win some and you lose some.I may try the Thursday night Quaker State
bike night to see if anyone there can reupholster the seat and finish the back
rest. Please post any information.

does seats. I think thats in your neck of the woods? I believe its called
Spencers at greatdaytoride.com....My PC came with a Corbin and the new stock
seats. I liked both but liked the Corbin a little more so I sold the stock seats
to a member last year. Even though the Corbin is very firm it is comfortable.
Its a little lower and more than anything I love the looks. The rider seat is
more spacious than the stocker and the basket weave material is cooler too. I
never use it any more so I put my old sheepskin out to pasture.

though I didn't need that. On my newer PC800, there is a mystery saddle that I
need to do a long day with to find out if it needs to be replaced. I don't have
a problem with the Corbins.

NO to Corbin seats. Sigh.

less than a week.....only did the front seat, as I do not carry a passenger.
