Givi F1000 Universal Monorack
Written by tradewinds1964 on 2/4/2012 at 04:28 am

Thanks Douglas and forgive my ignorance, but I'm not sure of the difference
between the Corbin and Honda backrest for passenger. I do know that my passenger
backrest was similar to the drivers backrest and was connected to 2 vertical
supports that wrapped around the pillion seat. However, the Ukranian rack has
spacers that go between the support and the frame of the bike where the bolts
connect it. So there really isn't enough space for the original hand grab rails.
The rails of the rack are still comfortable enough for the passenger to hold on
and perfect for bungees when travelling to PC800 meets.

And Goldwing Fred, I was informed that moving or flashing blue lights on the
front are the illegal form. My lights are stationary on the front, sides under
the footpegs and rear on either side of the trunk. I have only had 1 cop stop me
and I think he was bored because he called for backup. So I had 3 cop cars
around my bike while they checked my license. Then the verdict was, turn them
off, which I have a switch for. So for the many months and the many miles and
many PC800 meets, I have had no problems. But you are right, they are kinda
sensitive about blue lights.
