New battery coming
Written by wynndungey on 3/12/2012 at 05:22 am

I've been very happy with the OEM batteries. You do need a battery that will
never need water added during their life. And any of those also won't have a
vent tube. (At least in my experience.) I've been getting about 8 years on a
single battery and I don't use battery tenders. On the other hand, I don't let
the bike sit too long.

Just placed the order from impactbattery.com.

predicted in the 60's and 70's. This should give me some time to change the oil
and final drive fluid, as well as give the whole bike a once over.

get excellent reviews. There were cheaper alternatives, including a gel
battery, but this one seemed like the best choice to me.
