First Ride on my 96 Pacific coast
Written by skyeenter on 3/12/2012 at 06:02 pm

Ben, forgive my atrocious humor skills. I guess it's 'cause we all appreciate
PC's that we are all a little odd. BTW, here's some real meat for when you're
riding that PC.

The Longest Sentence Contains the Longest Word
After a film adaptation of Salinger's 'The Catcher in the Rye,' writer, artist
and director Nigel Tomm publishes the longest sentence which contains the
longest word. The 2.4 million words sentence is published in four volumes of
Nigel Tomm's novel 'The Blah Story' (i.e., volumes 16, 17, 18 and 19). The
sentence ends up with a 3,609,750-letter word which contains all previously
known longest words.

I am sure that what I say here is not going to surprise any of the readers that lurk on this board. I am in essense, "preaching to the choir". I did a lot of research before I bought my PC and poured over many varied opinions. I am

Preach on Ben, preach on! I love the sound of a good choir because I think so many of us did the same thing. We raved, we bragged and we exaulted over the efficiency and smartness of our PCs. I'm still in awe at the design and &quo

The brakes may get better with use. It may be safe to assume you new PC sat unused for a while. The pads may be hard and glazed, especially if the previous rider never braked hard. Secondly, you do have to get used to non-integrated braking a

Ben, Try running 38-40 front tire pressure and 40-42 rear tire pressure, that seems to be the best on the PC and also on the Wings. Check your brake pads and see if they are Honda OEM, they seem to be the best on the PC. Many peopl

I keep hearing this statement and trying to figure out where is comes from. The power curve is nearly ruler flat from 2 grand to 6.5K. It increases by NO MORE than 3 ft-lbs between those RPMs. Its got gobs of low end torque. While there is so

It is not a good idea to try to ride your bike onto the tilted trailer when there is a 4 inch rise and you can't touch the ground. Said another way : Those 23 year old mirrors really DO explode when they bike goes down fast. Mirror housin

The mirrors for the PC are one of the few "mistakes" on this bike....difficult to find and very expensive. I highly recommend Mr. Pacrat's modification. I think he has the finest mirror setup in the PC kingdom. I plan on

Bob, both those parts, the mirror cover and the "black part under it" are available from Honda. I usually get my parts from Ron Ayers. It will come in the OEM color. skye --- In

Yes it is the Windscreen section. CMSNL has clear fiches for each year Pacific Coast. This is for the white 89 model. NH251P is the Pearl White color code. CMSNL is here in The Netherlands in the polder.

Just as a follow up. Honda Canada had the mirror for $275 and it was backordered until at least May. Service Honda $200 + $15 shipping to Alabama $25 to repackage and ship to me as used parts. $240 total. Yes high but at least it w
