remove back tire?
Written by tradewinds1964 on 3/18/2012 at 02:41 pm

Unfortunately Doug, that is the last picture of the blue lights.
I chatted with a Harley rider that had a single blue light on the back
of his front fender that pointed at the chrome on his engine. The
Stone Mountain judge fined him $1000.00 dollars because impersonating
a police vehicle. The judge refused to negotiate it even after it was
removed. And the guy was a former Atlanta cop.

Therefore, I finally took the advice of Goldwing Fred and removed all
blue lights. Georgia law was updated to reflect stationary lights and
it has been bumped up to a felony offense. I try to avoid any tieups
with the boys in the Black Suburbans. Really ticks me off cause I had
just changed my instrument panel lights to blue as well to match.

Anyshoe, all that to say....once you get the final drive changed,
you're going to LOVE IT! Especially low speed cruising. The engine
becomes really quiet. Low speed traffic is easy with only first gear.
And regardless of what people say about low power output, I can easily
and gently roll up from 40mph in 5th gear to any speed. Awesome bike!
