remove back tire?
Written by wbpc800 on 3/20/2012 at 07:08 pm

Hey Ting.

Haven't been on the list in quite some time. Was very surprised to see on your
video that you went darkside;-) I guess if we both make it to Tim's ride this
year we will be the farthest away and the farthest out there;-) Will be nice to
not be the only one.

FWIW, on the way home from NY last summer I stopped to meet Dave from OH. In
addition to doing the drop off technique you show in your video, he is the one
that got me to go darkside in the first place. I just had to meet him to say
thank you in person. Not only is he a great guy -- like you are -- but he makes
a mean batch of home made chocolate ice cream!

Hope you are having a wonderful riding season! Hope our paths cross at some
point this summer. I really enjoyed meeting you last summer.

Wade

PS. I don't have anything suitable for the drop off. However, removing the light
bar is no big deal to me. The PC is the easiest rear tire change bike I've ever
owned. However, I will likely review your video if I ever snag a good final
drive. Will be interested to hear what it does to your mpg.
