put bike on center stand
Written by rayman1 on 3/21/2012 at 01:59 am

Hi Gabe,

I do it all the time and I am 5' 10" 170 lbs. This is what I do.

Your best bet is to make sure the bike is on flat level ground to start off.

Stand on the left side of the bike and put your right foot on the center stand
peg and push down to make contact with the ground. At this point make sure the
bike is standing pretty much straight up and down and balanced.

Grab the left hand rear seat side hand grip with your right hand and pull up
while simultaneously pushing down on the center stand peg and the bike should
start to raise up on the stand. If you have to; put your full weight on the
center stand peg to raise the bike up on to the stand. Good Luck.

Ray
