put bike on center stand
Written by cykleman1 on 3/21/2012 at 02:13 pm

Here's another thing a lot of riders fail to do...keep the spring and moving
parts of the center stand lubricated. I always use chain wax, since it has a
high shear factor and lasts the longest given water on the highways when it
rains. Proper lubing will greatly improve how little effort it takes to put it
up and rock it down.

bike is standing pretty much straight up and down and balanced.

while simultaneously pushing down on the center stand peg and the bike should
start to raise up on the stand. If you have to; put your full weight on the
center stand peg to raise the bike up on to the stand. Good Luck.
