put bike on center stand
Written by goldwingman40 on 3/22/2012 at 12:40 pm

Wynn,

The small foot on the right side as compared to the left will let the right side
sink into soft surfaces more than the left causing the bike to tip to the right.
My ride off centerstand has a larger foot on the right along with some of the
weight being carried on the tire reduct the occurances of the bike sinking into
soft surfaces.

weren't too happy to find two divots in their asphalt. (And the bike did end up
leaning to the right.) Shade helps a lot.

only use the center stand on solid ground. I only use mine on concrete, never
asphalt! If one leg sinks in to soft sun warmed asphalt over goes the bike.
Just something to beware of.
