LED conversion difficulties
Written by alfr4d on 3/30/2012 at 06:04 pm

I could push a match in if I wanted. For these long lights this is not right.
The taillight was no problem glueing but the rubber is very slippery and I was
right, the silicone did not stick much to it.

Solved it today with two strands of thin fishing-wire on either side and two
little buttons for each light under the knots. I also payed better notice to
place the square LED's pointing horizontal and vertically and the result is a
much better lighting for some strange reason. It is OK now. Will post a picture
or video from the result, the late afternoon ride was more important. What a
bunch of work but I did do less protesting and hoarding. We are a bit worried
about how you do. 2:) Greetings Alfred

lamps for the instrument panel. On my instrument panel, the lamps are held in
place VERY well by the rubber boots. Fishing line sounds like a good solution
to your problem. Still... very odd. Those bulbs look identical to the ones I
am using and mine fit very well.
