Making new wingmirrors

What on earth are you doing to rip off so many mirrors? And how can I do this,
too?

Making new wingmirrors
Hi everyone, Just a quick rant. After shattering one wingmirror and with a second damaged, I have finally found, a pair of used, but complete wingmirrors, over here in France. Total cost for the pair : 500 euros - about 670 dollars...

    I just broke one and someone pointed me to Mrpacrat’s fix. If I had seen it first I might have done it rather than buy a new one. An aluminum plate mounts on the 4 screws. Paint it to match your bike. Then any car or bike mirror and turn

    If all you need is the glass you should be able to find a mirror shop that will make a mirror to fit. I've had mirrors made here in Louisville quite inexpensively. As far as making the shells, I've had a similar thought. For years I was

    I'm sure there's instructions on how to make a 3D scanner with a Kinect unit. Think it was about $100 and the Kinect unit. Just a bunch of college kids not wanting to wait or spend thousands of dollars.
