Re: Valve Stems
Written by rudyg1937 on 4/1/2012 at 07:36 pm

I just changed my rear tire, due to another nail, and I changed out the OEM
Honda valve stem to an angled metal stem. I had done this before on my other 98
and had to point the valve stem to the left to clear the protrusion on the rim
that supports the stock valve stem. I got the 83 degree 11.3mm valve stems from
Kurveygirl.com (motorcycle parts, not porn) this time. They are made different
and clear the support boss so I did not have to point it the wrong way or cut
off the support.

No affiliation with them. I just saw their ad in Road Racing World Magazine and
decided to try them. I also like how they seal better.

Just an FYI
