We should have a database of modifications

On the forks set up. Springs is one thing, but oil weight (Thank you), oil
height or
exact oil quantity. (Not expecting the latter because the quantity in the
manual strikes me as a minimum and not optimal.) When I bought this bike last
year, it was obvious that the fluids were overdue to be changed. I did pull the
spacers out of the forks. (Couldn't put them back in by myself, they added an
additional 1" of preload. My Son has offered to help. He's young and healthy.)

synthetic as I noticed a difference going from dino to synthetic. This is a mod
I have made in both of the 98's I have had and it makes a very noticeable
difference.

My first PC had a deceleration wobble at 12,000 miles so I put them in and it
was gone. Sure, tightening the stock bearings may fix it but I saw wear in
those when I pulled them and the tapered should be final. Have not readjusted
them since install and I used the fish scale adjustment I have posted here many
times instead of tightening to a set torque.
