HID Light Installation
Written by tradewinds1964 on 4/18/2012 at 02:48 am

Wade, there are a couple kind of H4 bulbs. There are some with
an HID low beam and a halogen bulb for high beam. I don't like these
because the halogen 55w bulb is not that bright. The bi-xenon HID
bulb is a single 35w bulb that moves up and down to change the angle
for high or low beam.

It comes in different brightness as well, 4K, 6K, 8K, 10K. I don't
recommend anything above 10K brightness because the amount of light
starts decreasing after 10K.

If you go with the bi-xenon, you will only have a single bulb to
worry about and it will pull 35w. I didn't know about the interference
factor. My mp3 player amp is mounted next to the headlight housing
attached to the frame. Never had a problem with interference.
