6 speed transmission project ...

The biggest problem with the PC is not the number of gears, but the gear
spacing. Normally tight spaced gears are needed for narrow power bands. The PC
has a extremely wide power band, so it does not need tightly spaced gears. I
find I'm constantly short shifting. I rarely use 4th gear. Usually just a double
click to 5th, or a double click down to 3rd. Change the rear end ratio, and
widen the gear spacing, and one will not feel like it needs one more gear.
