Trunk Lid Alignment

John,

I've always assumed that the trunk lid frame gets tweaked a little when it is
open while the bike is on the sidestand. Add a seat bag or duffle tied on, or a
Givi style trunk, and it has a funny side load that it wasn't designed for. Is
the gap always larger on the right side? It is on Winglet.

An alternative explanation may be adjustment of the two trunk lid stops. It may
be a trivial adjustment to even out the gap.
