How about a spark plug thread

What do you use for spark plugs and how often to you replace them?

I went with the stock ngk's when I got my PC. I've now put 30 or 40k on her and
figure it is time to replace the plugs. (Have ran platinum in my cars so long I
don't actually remember life of standard plugs.)

I'm doing a little better now than I was when I got the bike so I might just put
the platinum ones in this time. They seemed kind of spendy to me before and I
still wonder if they are worth the money.

What do you think?

(FWIW, this isn't done yet because I didn't realize that the HID kit was going
to be drop shipped from China. Should be here next week so I will get on with
all of this.)
