How about a spark plug thread
Written by goldwingman40 on 8/10/2012 at 08:30 pm

Wade,

I have been running NGK Platinum Fine Wire plugs in all my bikes for the last 15
years, the plug for the PC was DPR7EVX-9. Plugs that can go 100k miles in cars
and trucks can sure go in bikes. This sure saves a lot of work of changing plugs
and the fine wire gives a better spark with much less chance of fouling alonc
with the gap doesn't change because of no tip errosion. The current equivalant
plug is the NGK Iridium, DPR7EIX-9,for the PC.

long I don't actually remember life of standard plugs.)

put the platinum ones in this time. They seemed kind of spendy to me before and
I still wonder if they are worth the money.
