neutral light ? 1998 honda pacific coast.

the neutral light works when the bike been sitting. After i drive the bike for a while the Green neutral light dont come on the the bike dont start. I can Push start it to start it at that point. Im thinking the neutral switch is bad. How big is it to change the switch or any other Ideas that it cold be.
