I researched heavily on doing a Bi-xenon projector headlight w/Angel eye on my other bike for the very reason you gave regarding the HID conversion....too much light scattering every which way. Post the type of projector you use when you do this mod. Some of them are small enough to fit inside the PC headlight assembly. I'm pretty sure you will have to heat up the light assembly in the oven and pry it apart. Most of the projectors only draw 35w instead of 55w. Great for freeing up some watts for running heated gear or other electrical farkles....
