He said he does not hear the squeak stooping still and bouncing the suspension. Shock mounts squeak as soon as you sit on the bike. I've replaced the shock bushings on two of my bikes. Greasing them is only a temp fix and the rubber mounts along with the brass bushings should be replaced, usually only needed on the bottom mounting holes. Cheap fix.
