Got the warranty replacement battery back from Shorai. Too late in the season here in the cold white north to install it. It will sit on the shelf until spring roll out. Shorai reported a couple of problems with the old one. Most of them caused by the trouble shooting and attempt to charge up the dead cells. Possible underlying cause; a bad solder joint to a cell pair. Shorai was a pleasure to deal with and as a company I cannot recommend them too highly but still on the cusp about the actual product.
