Re: MUFFLER CHIRP FIXED!!!!!!!!!!

I actually tried a screwdriver, but didnt work. I ended up using a long prybar. There is no obstruction, just a loose baffle. I tried denting the OUTSIDE of the can, but that doesnt work. The key is to slowly move the end of the prybar around in the muffler until you here the chirp get noticeably louder. That is the spot where you need to pry. Leave the bike running and keep working it until the chirp is gone. Hope you end up chirp free! I cant guarantee it will work for every chirp, but it might. This is the easiet way to stop the chirp unless you cut open your muffler or drill holes and put bolts through your muffler. My way causes minimal damage to the expensive stock muffler.
