Skye, forgive me for replying to a 4 year old post, but it is great information, that needs to be highlighted from time to time.
How did the '97 come out? I have a '97 that is "shedding" the paint from the shelter. Every time a sticker or patch of Velcro is pulled off, the underlying paint comes also. The rest of the paint seems to be better adhered. I've decided to strip the shelter and repaint it. I'm wondering if one can of each of the components would be enough?
Also, as you know, the '97 was not clear coated, but I'd like to clear coat the entire bike. Is this advisable? If so, how many cans of CC do I need?
