Hi Dave,

The Reid rack was designed by Ann Reid ofScottsdale, AZ and built by a friend of hers who also happened tobe the chief welder for Titan Motorcycle.

I haveseveral of them on my PCs but they are hard tocome by.  I don't know how many were made but Iwould guessnot more than 50.  They were available 10or 15 years ago but went away as fast asthey appeared.

TheLandsberger rack was built byDavid Landsberger's company.  It wasmade of steel and the design was based onthe Reid rack.  Theywere steel, black powdercoated and very nice but onlya limited quantity weremade.

Ihave been trying to findone of them for over ayear; no luck so far.

Neitherrack would becapable of handlingmore than 10 to15 pounds partlybecause anymore than thatwould probablybreak the backrestbrackets. Both rackswere designedto mount onthe back ofthe Hondalinebackrest.

Icarry aNelson-RiggsCTB-200 RollBag on mine. Probably 6 or7 pounds max. Maybe 10 butno more...

FYI...

Leland
