Robert,I am using the BFG 155/80R15 on my '96 PC with no issues.  The BFG is 24.7 inches in diameter & 6.1 inches wide.  Looking up the 145/65R15 I see 22.4 inches diameter & 5.7 inches wide.  The stock Dunlop is 24.17 inches in diameter & 5.87 inches wide.  It appears the smart tire will fit but due to its smaller diameter it will affect your gearing and lower the bike by about an inch.
