Re: Car Tire on the back-2nd seasonThis will be my second season as a “darksider”. I am aware of the thoughtful and well-researched article on how motorcycle tires are different from car tires in design and structure, but my experience has been positive using the car tire.I tend to think of it this way: I’m not an aggressive scratch-the-pavement-with-the-pegs kind of rider. The angles at which I put the bike are modest and so the sidewall issues are not significant for me. Also, it’s my impression that if you go back a ways in motorcycle history, they all ran on squarer tires, especially in the back.FWIW.Ed
