Electrical issue

Thinking the same thing. Thinking if it were me, would be removing all
the plastic on the lower right rear where the battery is kept. Maybe
some on the same quarter on the left where fuel pump lies. Look for any
and all corrosion, loose connections, nonstandard connections to the
wiring. And check the battery terminals. Should be a fuse somewhere near
the battery which may be dirty.

Sounds too wild to be true but I've found intermittent fuses before.

The fact that slamming the trunk "fixed" the problem, for a while,
suggests its an intermittent connection.

Leaving the lights on all night didn't do your battery any favors. It
may now be due for replacement. Heard the WestCo aftermarket battery is
a good product and good value. Stick with the solid no-liquid battery as
your PC came with. Is my understanding thats all WestCo does.
