Hi again Dave,

One other point: the regulator may well test fine even though it is
bad. I did the resistance tests specified in the service manual on both
the new and the old regulators and they were very close. But the old
regulator had fried my 8 month old Yuasa battery. And the new regulator
made it run like a champ again...
