I had the same problem with my 91 wing. If I took my hands off the handlebars
at less than 30 mph it would shake. Not that bad but the first time scared me a
bit. It never happened at higher speeds. Fast forward to my 98 PC and it
happened on this bike also but I couldn't believe how fast the shake
accelerates! Also it seems to happens all the way up to 55 mph. I just keep
one hand on the bars all the time. I know this sounds odd but I find it gives
my arms a rest to ride with my arms crossed for short periods. The PC is
unbelievably easy to steer with your weight in comparison to my wing. Keep in
mind we have very little traffic on our highway in Canada.
