New Reid Rack -- Discussion and Progress

When were they made of plastic? Mine has the distinct "plink" and harsh
feel of steel, not to mention the sheer weight. Since installing the
Givi rack, the trunk strut isn't capable of lifting to the end of it's
travel with help.
