A full report will follow the ride, as always. From what I've read,
it's the friendliest group of cyclists I'll probably ever meet. Of
course, there's always that 1%...

I think I remember seeing that somewhere, but I was considering
putting it on the passenger's seat or in the trunk. Don't like the
idea of stressing the Ann Reid rack with 8 lbs per gallon.

I don't want it so much for ensuring I can make the next gas stop;
more for extending the ride between stops. There is a possibility of
attempting another iron butt (Bun Burner Gold) on the way out.

I have a small (10 oz) white gas bottle I picked up at REI for
emergency fuel - and yes, I do change the gas in it every couple of
fill ups.

Nothing. With 30 other guys currently interested in going, there
will be four trailers traveling with us, so my "bags" will be on the
trailer, leaving me to enjoy the ride.

Likely they'll either be running on diesel, or won't want to stop for
a "rice burner". I'd rather rely on myself and my riding partners,
than on the goodness of others.

Thanks for your thoughts.
