Something wrong here. My new retainer did not pull my new valve stem
down at all. They exactly fit each other - the valve stem turns at a
right angle and lines right up with the retainer on mine.

I'm wondering if the valve stem on yours might be the wrong one...???

    I just changed my rear tire, due to another nail, and I changed out the OEM Honda valve stem to an angled metal stem. I had done this before on my other 98 and had to point the valve stem to the left to clear the protrusion on the rim that su
