Detachable bags, even if they load from the side, (maybe even better)
beat the trunk for convenience. I have now had both and it is soooo
handy to take off the saddlebags and carry them into the room with
you. Yes, I have the soft bags for my PC but it is not the same.
Now non-detachable saddlebags get low points from me as they are less
convenient than the trunk. I have had Hondaline detachable bags,
Givi, and Krauser Starlets, all of which I liked. Now I just need to
find a bike I like as much as the PC to use as a replacement with the
detachable bags. Still leaning towards the Norge but can't get
myself to unload that kind of cash for that small of a dealer network
and past reputation for parts availability, or lack thereof.
