The trunk does it for me also, beats detatchable bags hands down. You
don't even have to buy the expensive Hondaline soft bags, there are
enough types of inexpensive soft bags to satisfy nearly all tastes. I
love the ease and convenience of just lifting the bags out of the
trunk and carrying them into the motel\hotel. They are light, easy
and clean. Hard bags are heavy, expensive and easy to scrape, scuff
and beat up. It's no contest at all.
